The criteria for producing a well thought out French fold book is as follows:

• Limited to three typefaces
• Think about paper stock
• Think about the French fold technique e.g. colours and cut
• 300dpi
• Theme e.g. signage and type (how they relate)
• can handwrite and then scan so to look professional when printed

The marking criteria would be based 50% on book 25% dust cover 25% professionalism.

When producing the book:

• you will need to think about making a grid suited to your theme
• can create an outline for when the bolts of the book will be placed
• create master pages so it becomes easier while designing your book
